“inkblots mutate
to form pictures,
alphabets,
stories
I did not create”
In my mind’s eye
the words are perfectly aligned
arranged and arraigned
tasked to perform prettily
when I sit down to spill ink
they assume shapes of their own
writing stories I did not dictate!

The picture is heart-rending, and you are so right about inkblots becoming characters we can’t control.

Isn’t it so, how we see our life stories playing out, and the reality is much of it is out of our control…

So it is. I am glad I am not the only one to feel so.

It is this view, we readers get to see you an your poetic world.
My favourite line in this one is –

Thanks so much, Stella. A poet may create all the images she wants but should be honest with her words… that’s what I think.
