His debut on the stage of my life
despite the lack of any cues
was unmarked by errors,
fortuitous we would call it,
through missteps and different music
playing in our heads
we did manage to remain in sync
dancing impromptu and improvising
as we went along
our focus more on laughter than tears
fingers laced together to face all villians
threatening to change the story
believe me our chance together
would have been jeopardized
had we been handed a bound script to follow.
How many times one can write beautiful poems? The answer is plenty of times because you just do this. Great piece.

Judy, please accept my heartfelt apologies. Your comment had landed in my spam. Since I don’t check regularly, I was aghast to see it languishing there for so long. I am sorry I couldn’t be of any help that day.
I really enjoyed the story of the little bee!

All the world is a stage,
but without such gifted writing,
miming would be all the rage 💛😎

This speaks so beautifully of a love that is full of life and spontaneity. Unscripted, naturally unfolding. Gorgeous ❤️❤️

I have realised plans can go awry and spontaneity keeps the spark alive. Thank you so much, Rachel. ❤️❤️

Any relation should be spontaneous. Like I just read another poem and almost the same idea…Trying to confine love within scripted expectations always mars the essence. But one thing that troubles me is why should it be without errors. Shouldn’t it look beyond errors. Because perfect is nothing. Or is it that when you choose to overlook the errors, it becomes “without” errors. Just a thought.

Thank you so much, Sonia! I have written about the entry of the other person as unmarked by errors. But there are missteps which definitely means lots of errors were made. The villains in real life are the errors and mistakes! 😅
I agree, life is never perfect. 😊

This is beautiful. Serendipity of two people coming together and dancing to the for the most part a melodious song amidst some once in a while crassness. 💕

another lovely, romantic and yet profound piece, the best part of the drama of life is that the audience at the end is you, something that we all keep forgetting as we put on the show

Indeed! The rest of the cast come and go but we as audience live with the main cast. Thanks a lot, my dear.
