The night crackles with complex chemistry
speaking a language languid with desire
susurrating secrets suffuse my being
time chants an enthralling tune
goaded by the murmurations of moon
I remove the carefully calibrated mask
heart thrumming with trepidation and tension
eventually
unafraid, unhindered and uninhibited
I give in to the shimmying sultry dreams
that entreat for final fulfillment.
