A snapshot of life in full glory of colours
stays encapsulated in the camera
frozen for the time being
as life fades into greys and blacks
drab shades of uncertain existence
the pace suddenly goes slack
the idyllic surroundings beckon
but eyes glide past, unfocussed
trivia occupying the turbulent mind
cofusion reigns!
the mighty changes unleashed so abruptly
getting entrenched in slow motion
life stands akimbo in a limbo
this genie refuses to be bottled again!

Even genies are getting rebellious these days. Then again, who wants to be stuffed in a bottle. 😉

I agree, why on earth would anyone willingly be stuffed in a bottle?😂

I’m doing well, preparing for what’s to come next month as our local schools open for the next school year. It’s a time of lots of unknown and just remembering to breathe and take things one day at a time and do my best to take care of myself. 😊❤️🤗💞

The schools are not opening here. Online classes are being conducted. There is no likelihood of regular classes till Sept. I agree, too much uncertainty. You take care, my dear. 🤗💞🌷

Just have had time to rivisit your page….
Oblivious to what prompts have prompted to ignite the passion, I enjoy delight in reading and feeling through this marvellous piece of poetry…
There is a sense of liberation…a longing that bubbles…trying to move up from a nostalgic inheritance of freedom as if to attain a reality in open air…the beauty of freedom…the peace in liberty from the shackles of the moments in experience..from the confines of the reality that strangle the life in mundane routine of the disconnected present…severed by both the past and the future…this is as I look at it…maybe, my city flavour has added to my feelings…maybe, somewhat different that induces your thoughts to breathe…
Beautifully expeessed indeed…
Best regards

So wonderful of you to visit again, Saibalda! If you don’t mind may I ask from which city you hail?
Your response is so lyrical, so heartfelt, it reads like a poem itself! Thank you kindly for your gracious appreciation. I am very touched.🙏🏼
Best regards,
Punam
