Do you read your poems to him? This is beautiful, as Sadje said.

Tanmay, I have written a few poems for him and I do read out to them. But teenage is such an awkward age, he squirms when I read to him. 😅
Thanks so much. 😊

Ah, I thought he was younger from this poem. I imagine that it might be difficult to get him to stay still for very long, like most other teenagers.

I have written about when he was much younger. 😊
Oh, these days devices (thanks to covid) have done the impossible! Nowadays most teenagers have to be pushed to go out.

The innocence of childhood, don’t normally last, so, as adults, we must, do everything we can, to, preserve it, for our own younger generations, especially when, our childhoods were all, stolen away from us long, long, ago.

I really enjoyed the form.of this poem, Punam. Makes it very unique. Is it a specific form?

Yes, Sonia. It is a series of “atom(s)” . Each atom has three lines….the first line has 5 letters, the second line has 7 letters and the third line 5 letters. Quite like haiku but instead of syllables, letters are counted.
Thanks so much.
