Words too often play games with me
Pirouetting away quickly
To appear with alacrity!
Refusing to be strung just so
Treating me almost like a foe
Then sweetly falling in a row
Without them, what our life would be!
Mostly same words are used by all
Some fly, others falter and fall
Can writing be everyone’s call?
Of success there’s no guarantee!
Yet words do entice everyone
Coaxing hidden poets and some
write earnestly, others for fun
Words sure are public property.

Public property.
And though we’re diverse in the way we use ‘all things’ I wish we’d only choose good words to share with one another. It would promote kindness, I think.
Reverence returns same: that’s why.
Thanks for this lovely creative piece. You rocked it.
Thanks.

Words mean responsibility. Unfortunately many are not aware if it.
