End of Summer Scavenger Hunt

Val of A Different Perspective is running the End of Summer Scavenger Hunt, where we have to write 13 poems in August in the prescribed form on the given topics.

I am joining in the fun with three micro poems on the first three topics.

1. Zappai on Drunkenness

so drunk on power
being nice to one and all
such a boring chore

2. Kimo on Jealousy

that green-eyed beast that gnaws at my innards
distorts my vision of self
I burn in living hell

3. Lune on Birth

mind simmers,
creates; gives birth to

  1. Gosh Punam, these are brilliant. I saw that this type of poetry is not your usual form so this isvreally good. Bravo! ❀️
