The game of love at play

Day 12 OctPoWriMo

Prompt: Play

Form: Tongue twister

Gaming gang with gusto gambled
gamboling, gallivanting game to game
scrabble scrambled senses sought stoppage
retinas resting restively on radiant rival
heart hopscotched at hula hooping hips
swinging sinuously, sharpening skipping in the sternum
pushing past pusillanimity
passed the parcel of passion
duo delightedly duelled in the dialect of devotion
access to arterial arcade acknowledged and accepted.

I had a lot of fun with this!

    1. I am delighted you liked it. Last OctPoWriMo too I had attempted a tongue twister which was much appreciated…that gave me courage to try it again.
Heart hopscotched…was the first line that came to my mind. ❀️

      1. There’s no hurry! I’ll probably launch at the end of the month.

I can send you the PDF, if you send me your e-mail address (you can do it throough the website if you don’t want to share it here).

      2. Angela, much as I would like to join your launch team, it may not be possible for me. The festive season in India begins from Saturday. Moreover next week my husband will be back home after 4 months of staying away for work.
I wish you all the success with the book. ❀️

  1. A tongue twister with alliteration? Don’t mind if I do!

“duo delightedly duelled in the dialect of devotion” – now THAT is inspired.

I like the connection being drawn between love and games and the joy those games, simple as they might have been, always brings. I love the friendly competition aspect of these games, with the “rival” being playfully competed against but also cooperated with in playing and enjoying it. Rich with joy. I can almost hear the laughter.

    In short: wonderful!
