I know it too well
That promised journey
Flitting like a carefree butterfly
Across the expanse of globe
In this treacherous, grey and bleak scenario
To finally unite with you
Is not just improbable
But impossible too!
Yet who can understand
The ways of the gullible heart
The idiot plants an idea in the overzealous mind
That keeps checking the distance
On rainbow coloured maps!

Think whatever you want to think, the heart will want what it wants, including the imporbable and impossible. This one resonatd with me. You seem to know my heart all too well,

Smiling.
Grateful you were thinking of me. Always nice to know one is not forgotten.
My return has been slow. Don’t want to take on any stress to quickly. BNut I am so happy I reaxd this piece and of course to reconnect with you.
Much love and admiration right back.

I always feel good when you smile at my words. Please take it slow and steady…there is absolutely no rush to read. But I am grateful that you read this and we reconnected.
Stay safe.

Maps are beautifully drawn things, yet I find more intention in old maps where people travelled the land to draw the roads and meet the people living there. It is not the same staring at a piece of paper as it is walking into the hug of a missed friend or family member. 🙂

No information yet Punam as all boarders are still closed here in Asia except for special flights.

Love this one as well, although I have to disagree with you on one thing – a gullible heart is not a bad thing! I would argue it is hopeful (if sometimes misguided) and much preferred to a heart hardened by cynicism. At least that’s what this gullible hearted woman thinks! 😉

Your argument accepted and I stand corrected! ( From one gullible heart to another!😂)
But I hate to admit it!!😉
