I sit still as I scout oblivion

silhouetted against the horizon

no answers come forth

and this nothingness

shapes the hollow in my heart

I switch my gaze closer home

to upturned question marks

lurking all around

broken, I willingly drown in your

disconcertingly clear eyes

only to be rescued

on the edge of tears

which pool into the hollow to heal

the passage from eternity to now

is wrought with timeless passion

I love this oblivion.

    1. It sure is! Thank you so much, Rachel. ❀️❀️
I read your lovely post last night but was unable to comment. When I tried again a while ago, I received this..’user cannot view this post’! It is frustrating!! I will try again later. ❀️

      1. Awww that is so sweet! I took down the poem not too long after I posted it… it’s a weird feeling to describe, but it’s almost like stage fright. I get it sometimes after posting poems! ❀️❀️

The ‘you’ may be hooked to the upturned question marks but the writer is hooked to oblivion.πŸ™‚
