I chart my flight across
the swirling chaos of realities
to safely land on the island of
serene dreams of valium drugged nights
depending on ingenuity to
dodge the bullets of nightmares
across the vast expanse of whirling sand
‘cos the melodious ache of floating
in a hazed limbo, is too much to bear.
Beautiful poem!
“the swirling chaos of realities”
You are great!

Melodious ache, such contradiction, but reality, harsh or not is made up of such contradictions.

Reality is such a beautiful contradiction, isn’t it? Thanks a lot.

Indeed, everything is beautiful including contradictions if you are beautiful, and not just physiologically

If we stop fretting the finer details, everything is beautiful.
Including the connections we make here.

We all need an escape sometimes. Reality can be brutal. But spending some time away can give you a breather. I donβt know what Iβm trying to say here π . The poem is awesome. Keep it up!!

If it resonates with you, it means I did a decent enough job. Because I remember your poem on insomnia which was marvellous! Thank you so much, Rachel. β€οΈβ€οΈ
