Full moon

The moon ascends the skies

in her full royal regalia

the stars lower their eyes in awe

she has no tools of trickery

dependent on borrowed illumination

yet her inner grace

making her luminous

and cynosure of all eyes.

  1. it intrigues me how different poets give salutation to the moon, in the feminine and masculine, the moon seems to have an inane duality only dreamers can understand. gorgeous poem Punam

  2. “Her inner grace making her luminous” – yes, it is this that makes the moon, and all of us (should we be lucky enough to possess) it, graceful. This is an absolutely beautiful poem my friend 🌸❀️
