He sat still
with his eyes closed
under the tree
deep in the forest
with a bovine calm
soaking the euphonious sounds
of nature around
and multitudinous thoughts
percolated in his mind
before coming to a complete stop
then he got up
with a beatific smile on his face.
Reflective and introspective time within natures confines can always lead to enlightenment. Excellent, Punam.

delightful … I was once upset when a friend claimed I had bovine eyes, years later I was told it was a compliment … nice reflection, these prompts are tempting me!

Thank you, Kate. You are right, bovine does not sound complimentary. Why don’t you start responding to prompts once again? π

time again Punam, have so much to do to catch up with moving so often last year … plus starting new voluntary work before I’ve finished the other … as time permits!

Yes, of course! I can understand you are pressed for time. Maybe when time permits…please?
