Mr. Winter finally gathers his cloak
and decides to recede
his wrath and fury totally spent
refusing to be appeased any which way
he was bellicose and truculent
freezing all that came his way
Ms. Spring waited patiently smiling sweetly
popping a flower here and a bloom there
knowing that her time would come
and as March dawned bright and sunny
Spring turned on her radiant charm
forcing Winter finally into hibernation.
