You and me

~ paeansunplugged

I fold and tuck your love

in between my heartbeats

keeping it safe from prying eyes

it courses through my veins

a pulsating sweet ache

the words you leave by my pillow

whisper intoxicating secrets

this love makes me so complete

but I can’t go tomtoming around
the town

I am a bit old-fashioned, you see

its just between you and me

and I like to keep it that way.

      10. I am glad you see laughter. It is so important for me to laugh, more so at myself. More than a visionary, you make me sound like a strict teacher (which incidentally I was) putting the prompts in their rightful place! 😅😅
