Blood Moon

When the moon’s light was cut off

Then she in a fit of pique

Forgot the sage advice

Of new beginnings

And starting with a clean slate

But stubbornly held guilty the earth

For eclipsing her serenity

And thus turned bloody with rage.

      1. My comment is actually way too bland to convey how much I loved your poem!! I love this description of the eclipse as viewed by the moon, and the places it takes my mind when we, as non-celestial bodies, are eclipsed by another. Beautiful parallels.
