Tongue tied

Words are elusive today

Teasing from afar

Having a laugh at me

I want to summon

All of them

To let you know

How I feel

To pour out my feelings

And provide glimpses

Of the secret crevices of my heart

But I am left fumbling and floundering

stuttering and stumbling…

Till they have mercy on me

Er…I hope you don’t mind waiting!

  1. I’ll keep waiting, you can Stutter and stumble as much as like, I’ know because It happens to me often, and now I don’t try to be perfect anymore, and my words come out easier…….I’m better off, being me, bumbling and stumbling, that’s the real imperfect me

  2. Lol this is sometimes how I feel when I get up in front of a group of people…or when I’m feeling glisten and trying to stay calm while teaching a class…it feels like my brain has turned to mush and it’s a jumbled up mess of words that I know and I’m scrambling to find…lol 😁 πŸ˜‚πŸ˜˜πŸ€—β€οΈ
