The bank of clouds hangs low on the horizon

Planning to invade the sky from there

Not in a mood to wrangle

The sun sends a finger of warm ray

To tickle the impenetrable shroud

Thus the swollen incandescence

Melts into wispy and puffy bits

Floating and dispersing

Finally making way for the sun

To honour it’s commitment to the day.

  1. And then there was light… oh, the sun, capable of shooing the overcast sky. An excellent and poetic capture of the process.
