I still very well remember
When in a fit of anger
I sported a spiky, short haircut
Coloured it blue from walnut
This act of defiant madness
Showcasing my cussedness
Ignited the ire of my mother
Who with niceties doesn’t bother
She gave me a dire ultimatum
Shave head and then home come!
Wow, such a handful you must have been π

Cussedness! I am going to start using that word. I think it describes teens and pre-teens very well! I love how you have turned a moment of angst into a fond memory of growing up.

It is a wonderful word to use with teens and pre-teens! I have been using it a lot lately at home. π
Thank you so much. On hindsight things don’t seem so bad!
