The meeting

First of all I would like to wish all my blogger friends and visitors a merry Christmas. May it be a day of family time, happiness and contentment.

Please also accept my apologies for not being able to visit your blogs regularly these past couple of days. I intend to catch up in a day or two.

Taking his friend to meet the family

For the Christmas dinner

Seemed a formidable task

It had to be now or goodbye forever

He had been given the ultimatum

He was aware there would be a barrage of questions

And icy stares galore

But he had to do it

The first step he knew

Would be to make an impact

They both looked resplendent

And immaculately dressed

As they climbed the stairs

To his parents’ townhouse.
