Timeless Symphony

Our words bumped into each other

Often coincidentally

Blushed and glowed

In the aftermath

For they felt caressed and cosseted.

They saw in each other

What perhaps our minds couldn’t see

Resonating a duet in tandem

Creating music and poetry

What the heart remembers is a mystery

Words flow of their own accord

Creating a timeless symphony

Rare,ethereal and untold.

  1. Such a beautiful orchestra of words conducted by the skilled maestra, herself. How true it is that our words bump into the words of others and within that hearts begin to make memories. Personification is one of my favourite literary devices and you use it perfectly. Bravo, my friend πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you so much for your appreciation and lovely comment. Our words do assume a life of their own once put down on paper. It seems all the lessons I learnt long ago in school are coming to the fore and the metaphors, similes, personifications and syllables are making a symphony of their own.😊

      1. Or do they? πŸ™‚ I can see you tapping your baton, bringing those words to attention. However, I know what you mean, some words simply give birth to themselves, seemingly coming out of nowhere.
