paeansunpluggedblog

The numbing pain was a blessing

It blocked all thoughts

The fleet-footed as well the heavy treading ones.

The blank canvas of mind calmed the chaos

The churn had halted

If only for a while

The cacophony would return soon

For, how long can one obliterate thoughts?

  1. IT’s impossible to keep them at bay forever so we take the moments when the cacaphony stops, even if it is for a second and even if it is a result of numbing pain. So well expresed!
