It is so easy to crib and criticise
Cavil, carp and complain
For everyday there is something
That proves to be a bane.
We are so intent on focusing
On the negatives in our life
We forget to count our blessings
And celebrate being alive.
We are showered with abundant happiness
But are never grateful for this
One thing goes wrong for us
We curse the entire universe.
Find joy in mundane, random things
For nature is so bountiful
The day we realise this
Life will indeed be beautiful.
